Frequently Asked Questions

What makes Modern Masters Dead Flat Interior Varnish different from standard clear coats?

It is specifically formulated to produce an ultra-matte, dead flat finish while maintaining maximum clarity. Unlike many clear coats, it eliminates sheen inconsistencies and prevents yellowing over time.

Will this varnish change the appearance of decorative glazes?

No. The non-yellowing water-based formula preserves aged and antiqued finishes while protecting the surface with minimal reflectivity.

Is this varnish suitable for interior furniture and cabinetry?

Yes. It is ideal for interior furniture, cabinetry, trim, and architectural surfaces where ultra-low sheen protection is required.

How does it eliminate sheen variation?

Its dead flat formulation reduces light reflection across the surface, creating a uniform matte appearance even when applied over semi-gloss base layers.
